Welcome to the Addison Park District!
The Addison Park District is a recipient of the Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency award. This prestigious honor given by the Illinois Association of Park Districts & the Illinois Park and Recreation Association, recognizes park districts for providing high quality programs and services to their community.
The Park District has served Addison residents since 1969 beginning with just 8 community parks covering 50 acres. Today, the Park District has 25 parks encompassing approximately 284 acres of green space in addition to 2 community recreation centers, an enriching preschool program, a vibrant Senior Center, an outdoor Family Aquatic Center, a state-of-the-art Fitness Club with an indoor pool and an award winning four-season golf facility.
