Park PridePARK PRIDE - Saturday, May 13, 2017

It's time to roll up your sleeves and show your PARK PRIDE! Join hundreds of volunteers on Saturday, May 9 (9-11am) for a day spent preparing the parks for the season. All volunteers will be treated to an appreciation cookout in Community Park immediately following the event. The Spring RECYCLING EXTRAVAGANZA will be held once again in Community Park's parking lot from 9am - 12pm. This is a drive thru event so that you can drop off your wares at different stations.

MOVIE in the PARK - Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Bring your family and a blanket or lawn chairs to Community Park and enjoy the movie on the big screen under the stars. Admission to the movie is free and concessions such as popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.

Touch-a-Truck and the Kids Toys and Outdoor Garage Sale


This is a great opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of several big trucks, including a fire truck, police car, tractor, school bus and many others! The Kids Toys and Outdoor Garage Sale is at the same time and both events take place in Centennial Park.

BUILD a BOAT Contest
Saturday, August 6 @ Noon
Community Park outdoor pool

Design and build your own human-powered boat then compete in a 50-meter race against your friends! The winning team will receive half of the registration money and a trophy. The winning team is the one who makes it 50 meters the fastest or the farthest without sinking. All boats must be built prior to race-day (August 8). To register or for more information, call (630) 233-7275. This event is sponsored by Pinstripes of Oak Brook.
