PARK PRIDE - Saturday, May 11, 2013
Local environmentalists had the opportunity to participate in Park Pride on Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. This community event is an opportunity for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help prepare our parks for the busy summer season. After a morning spent planting flowers, spreading mulch, cleaning up the parks and spending time together as a community, volunteers are invited back to Community Rec. RECYLCING EXTRAVAGANZA in Community Park's parking lot.
This is a drive-thru experience and a great opportunity to
clean out your garage! 
PAINT the CAN / ART in the PARK - May 22, 2013
Bring your creativity to Community Park and help us transform 55-gallon steel drum cans into exciting works of art! All supplies are included for this free event on Wednesday, May 22 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please call to register for this event so that we can allocate enough supplies. Refreshments will be served.
BIKE FEST - Sunday, June 9, 2013
Recreational bikers are invited to come to Community Park for this annual ride along the Salt Creek Greenway Trail. BikeFEST is a free event and is a great way to spend a few hours with family and friends.
MOVIE in the PARK - Thursday, July 18, 2013
Bring your family and a blanket or lawn chairs to
Community Park and enjoy a movie on the big screen under the stars.
Admission to the movie is free and concessions such as popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.
TOUCH-A-TRUCK and the KIDS TOYS and OUTDOOR GARAGE SALE - Sat., August 3, 2013
This is a great opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of several big trucks, including a fire truck, police car, tractor, school bus and many others! The Kids Toys and Outdoor Garage Sale is at the same time and both events take place in Centennial Park.
