The Addison Park District Citizen Advisory Panel is comprised of 7 Addison representatives that live within the taxing boundaries of Addison Park District, along with 2 Park Commissioners as appointed by the Board annually. The 7 representatives on the committee will be a specific representative from one of 5 geographical areas of the taxing boundaries along with 2 at large members from any address within the boundaries. Please view the Map of Panel Zones. Each representative will be asked to serve a 2-year term.

The Panel will meet on a quarterly basis in coordination with the Committee of the Whole Meeting for the months of March, June, September and December. Each meeting will maintain an agenda with the following areas of discussion prioritized regularly while being subject to additional topics at each meeting:

  • Community engagement
  • Asset management
  • Programming/services
  • Project planning

If selected for consideration, you will be contacted for an interview with the Commissioner Representatives and Executive Director. All Park District volunteers, including those serving on this Citizen Advisory Panel, are subject to criminal background checks upon selection as a Panel member.
