A Living Memorial
The Addison Park District’s Commemorative Tree Program is designed to add trees to the District’s parks. You may purchase a tree as a way to remember a loved one, celebrate a birth or commemorate a special event or anniversary.
Your tree can be a special symbol or a gift that you can enjoy for years to come, and at the same time, our parks will continue to grow in size and beauty for residents and visitors to enjoy.
As a donor, you may select a tree, or trees, from a list of shade, ornamental and evergreen trees. Included in the price of the tree are planting, care and replacement, if necessary. You may request a specific park or location for your commemorative tree. The exact location, however, will be determined in conjunction with Park District staff.
In addition to planting, the donation will be publicly recorded by the placement of an engraved brass leaf on a plaque located at the Park District’s administration office located at Community Rec. Center.
For more information or to request a location for a Commemorative Tree, please call the Addison Park District at (630) 233-7275, option 2.
