Dance Classes

Centennial Rec Center Dance Studio

All sessions are geared to be Introductory Recreational Dance Classes. Classes will be held in the Dance Studio located on 2nd level of the Centennial Rec Center and at Community Rec Center.

Fall Classes will run October 6th through December 3rd on Tuesdays & Thursdays. The first class will begin on Tuesday, October 6th.

Tuesday

Tot Intro 1 – Learn basic dance steps through fun music, movement, and play!

Tot Intro 2 – Build on basic skills with more movement, rhythm, and creative fun!

Shake It Off – A high-energy class with fun routines that build confidence and self-expression!

Thursday

Combo 1 – Explore ballet, tap, and jazz in a fun and energetic class!

Combo 2 – Develop your dance skills with ballet, tap, and jazz while building confidence!

We are happy to welcome Gayle Paulson as our new dance instructor:

Gayle Paulson is a performer, choreographer, and creative from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gayle obtained her bachelor’s in dance performance from University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught dance the last 7 years and loves to find different ways to incorporate students from all backgrounds and experiences. Gayle is driven by the connecting powers of dance and movement and strives to create an inviting dance space for everyone. Gayle’s favorite style of dance is tap because she likes to play with sounds and rhythm!
