Pickleball – at Community Rec Center Gym & Centennial Rec Center

Tuesdays & Thursday from 9 am – 12 .m Saturday 8am-11:30am. Community Rec Center. 

Saturdays 9am-11:30am, May 3 – July 29, Centennial Rec Center near side gym, $3 walk in fee  

Get your friend together and come out to try your hand at Pickleball.   Pickleball combines tennis, badminton and ping pong for a fun game. It’s played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and composite paddles. The game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Pay at the front desk before entering the gym.  Location: Community Rec Center Gym. 

Pickleball fee $3 Daily drop-in fee.    10-Punch card: $10R/$20NR

Walk in fee: $6 non members.  Club Fitness members swipe in. 

Youth Open Gym at Centennial:  all children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult to attend open gym. 

Fridays May 27 – July 29 : 5:00pm – 7:30pm
Walk in fee: $6 Club Fitness members (parents)

The Addison Park District provides Open Gym hours to Addison residents of all ages at Centennial Rec Center/Club Fitness (1776 W. Centennial Pl., Addison). Open Gym is not available at Community Rec Center.

Open Gym is available to Addison residents only, specifically those persons residing within the Addison Park District boundaries, School District #4 and Addison Trail High School students with student identification. Students of District 15 may also be admitted provided they are Addison Park District residents.

Participants must bring proof of residency, such as a student ID or state-issued ID card.  No one will be admitted without proof of residency.

Open gym hours and fees are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of the Addison Park District.
