Dear Polar Express Participants Train #1 on Saturday, December 11, 2021
If this is your first time riding the Polar Express with the Addison Park District you are in for a real treat. As your receipt states the program starts at 8:45 a.m. This is when check-in begins on platform #1 at the Itasca train stop. Our train will arrive at 9:12 a.m. The train will head west to Elgin with a 10-minute layover in Elgin. We will arrive back at the Itasca train stop at 10:23 a.m.

CORRECTION: Your receipt states to be at the Itasca train station at 9:45 a.m. This time is incorrect. The correct time is 10:45 a.m. Check-in starts at 10:45 a.m. platform #1. The train arrives at the Itasca train stop at 11:12 a.m. at which time we will board the train. We apologize for this publication error and look forward to seeing you on Saturday, December 11, at 10:45 a.m. platform #1. All aboard the Polar Express Storytime Train! Take this exciting train ride, based on the book, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. A storyteller will be on the train to narrate this story while children and their parents enjoy Christmas cookies. When we reach the North Pole, we will find Santa Claus and bring him back to Addison with us on the train. Families are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their holiday spirit! A parent or guardian must accompany all children. Children age 9 months or younger do not need a ticket. Tickets sell out quickly, so register early! Pre-registration required. Space is limited.

Fees: $18.00 resident and $22.00 non-resident. Location: Itasca Metra Station
