Registration Deadline for Youth Basketball League

Play in this organized league designed to progressively emulate actual basketball. Watch your child’s development from the first practice to the last game. Additional information about the league can be found at www.addisonparks.org

PRE K-2ND GRADES
Lower rims and smaller basketballs ensure success for every participant. League focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun. Co-ed teams will be created by Park District staff. Games will be facilitated by quality instructors that will teach the game in a fun and safe environment.

3RD & 4TH GRADES
More aspects of the game are introduced at this level. Basic basketball skills, team play, sportsmanship and fun remain the focus of the fun league. Teams will be separated by gender and are selected through a coaches draft. All players must attend a player evaluation date. Player evaluation information will be posted on our website www.addisonparks.org. Fee includes jersey.

Pre K (4yr) -K & 1st & 2nd Grade Leagues will practice on Saturdays during game dates. 3rd & 4th Grade teams will receive one practice during the week at local gyms. Practice days/times/locations are determined by the volunteer coach. Games will be played on Saturdays at Army Trail School Gym in the afternoon. 3rd & 4th Grade will participate in a league with surrounding park districts and game times/locations may vary. All home games will be played at Army Trail School and away games will vary dependent on local communities involved in the league. Player requests are not guaranteed.

Any registration taken after 11/12 will have $10 added to the registration fee, Registration form must be filled out and forms are available at any park district facility or online at www.addisonparks.org
